I am in my tent reminiscing over what has to be the most amazing day I have ever had.
We left a brilliant site and the lady Jamie did not want anything as she is all about passing kindness forward. The site was directly on the trail so it was back to it.

We entered an area that warned about Rattlesnakes and as soon as we entered the area it turned to single track with the grass coming straight to your legs. At that point we heard a very loud Rattlesnake warn us to keep moving, so we did.

We had several punctures today which is not unusual. The gravel is really sharp in places and with the weight of the bike it is tearing holes in the tyres. Our first flat though came at a Coke stop so that was cool.

Not long after this we found an amazing spot for lunch and a bit of rock diving.

The scenery was getting better and better and we found a beach that had crystal blue water and the finest sand so we had to jump in again.

We reached Beaverdell and got a Slush Puppy straight away. It is still forty degrees and I can’t get enough of them.
We have finished the night off with a trip to the local pizza shop.
