We had a lovely breakfast and hit the road at 0800. There was a strong breeze but it was very welcome indeed, even though sometimes it was against us. We did not mind because without the breeze the sun/heat is still intense. You get to midday and you are spent.

As we were coming down the other side we got some amazing views too.

Anyway, the views were outstanding and it was such a nice feeling, it has taken about four days and we are starting to feel like we are in flow with the country and the people. It is the same with any cycle tour, it always takes a few days to feel settled and part of the environment.
As we were making our way into town we spotted a little place to get some sugar in the form of the most amazing fruit ice drinks you can get almost anywhere. I don’t know what they add to them but they are truly top class.

We stopped off to chill in the park and spotted the locals playing cards. They were having loads of fun together.

Our accommodation for tonight is a hostel, it is a beautiful one. The room has a private bathroom and air con. It has a gorgeous arty courtyard behind a secure gate. There are peacocks, roosters, hens and the owners dogs chilling about the place. It only cost 30 USD for the night. About £22 in total for both of us.

We are just trying to chill in the room until it gets a bit cooler. It gave me time to have a bit of a play with my camera.

We went out for tea at a traditional soda and the food was amazing and cheap.

On the way back we saw a little festival and back at our accommodation the lights were on and it looked lovely.
